Carmen Cusack, the Tony-nominated star of the 2016 musical Bright Star, has returned to the New York stage with a gig at Feinstein’s/54 Below nightclub in Manhattan. Following a March 8 performance, she also has shows scheduled at the venue March 14–16.

She will sing Steve Martin/Edie Brickell numbers from Bright Star, plus original compositions and standards.

“I had such a great time last summer at Feinstein’s/54 Below,” she told Playbill. “The club was so good to me, and I got a wonderful live album out of my run there [Carmen Cusack: If You Knew My Story—Live at Feinstein's/54 Below]. It’s really nice to be back onstage in New York!”

Here’s her tentative set list:

“Along the Way” (original Cusack composition)
Bright Star medley: “So Familiar”/“Can’t Wait to See You”/“Love Has Come For You”
“Songbird” by Eva Cassidy
“Shane”
“Pour Me Another Round”/ “Tell Me She Didn’t” from Bright Star
“Nearness of You”
“People Get Ready”
“Rebellious Child” (original Cusack composition)
“Way Back in the Day”

“You Dear” (original Cusack composition)
“Stop” by Sam Brown

Cusack has a long resume of playing classic musical theatre roles on tour and regionally. She recently played Yvonne in the October 2016 Encores! revival of Sunday in the Park With George, which is now on Broadway.
