The evening will feature performances by Catch Me If You Can's Rachelle Rak, Bob Gaynor and Brandon Wardell as well as a selection from the NYMF production The Bobbed Hair Bandit, and vocalist Vicky Modica.
Broadway Sessions is hosted by actor Ben Cameron, who has appeared on Broadway in Footloose, Aida and Wicked, and is described as "an evening of musical performances, comedy, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week." The evening features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke on piano.
Doors open at 10:40 PM for the weekly Thursday-night event. Show time is 11 PM, and the musical theatre open mic, featuring Joshua Stephen Kartes, continues till 2 AM.
The Midtown Theater is located at 163 West 46th Street inside the HA! Comedy Club. There is no cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
