News Broadway Shows Will Play as Scheduled Jan. 22 The curtain will go up on matinee and evening performances as scheduled Jan. 22 following the winter weather system that impacted the New York City area over the past 24 hours.

Despite weather conditions on Jan. 21, in which New York City saw 11.5 inches of snow, Broadway producers kept the marquee lights on in midtown, with performances continuing Tuesday evening.

All Jan. 22 matinee and evening performances will also play as scheduled, according to the Broadway League.
