News Broadway Stands Up for Freedom Concert to Feature Celia Keenan-Bolger, Julia Murney, Steven Pasquale and More Tony Kushner, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Julia Murney and Steven Pasquale will be part of the New York Civil Liberties Union's July 23 Broadway Stands Up for Freedom benefit concert.

Seth Rudetsky will host and musical direct the 7:30 PM concert at the Skirball Center that will be directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell). Kushner is the evening's honorary chair.

Initial talent announced for the 10th annual concert includes Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher), Pasquale ("Rescue Me"), Murney (Wicked), Nikki Renée Daniels (Porgy & Bess), Julie Halston (Anything Goes), Darius de Haas (Rent), Ripley Sobo (Once), The Broadway Boys and founding performer Liana Stampur with Clinton Curtis.

Additional talent will be announced.

All proceeds benefit the NYCLU's youth programming, including work for LGBT teenagers; the Teen Health Initiative, which educates teenagers on their rights to access health care in New York City; and its work to stop overly aggressive policing and military recruiting in the city’s public schools.
