News Broadway-Studded Cast Will Bring American Showstoppers: An Evening of Cy Coleman Downtown Arranger Fred Barton and the Fred Barton Orchestra will present American Showstoppers: An Evening of Cy Coleman – with guests to include Broadway regulars Sam Harris and Terri White among others – Oct. 18 at 7:30 PM at the Schimmel Center at Pace University (3 Spruce Street).

Scott Thompson will direct and choreograph.

The concert will feature Cy Coleman hits, standards and less known works performed by actors like Harris and White –original members of Coleman's shows – and in addition, Broadway's Kevin Earley (Death Takes a Holiday, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Les Miserables), Deidre Goodwin (Chicago), Tari Kelly (Anything Goes, The Boy From Oz, Show Boat), Damon Kirsche, Karen Murphy (A Little Night Music), Lindsay Roginski (Chicago) and Leslie Stevens (La Cage Aux Folles) will perform.

Rounding out the ensemble will be Hannah DeFlumeri, AJ Hunsucker, and Jesse Luttrell, and The Scott Thompson Dancers will include Barrett Davis, Evan Campbell, Buddy Flowers, Jeff Metzler, Jeff Legace, Jeremy Miranda, Justin Henry and Eric Rivas.

Here's how the evening is billed: "Fred Barton, collaborator with Cy Coleman on three of his productions, now brings the powerful pulse of Coleman’s Broadway sound back where it belongs, front and center, with a hot twelve-piece swing orchestra and a cast of 20 Broadway singers and dancers."
