Following a first-look preview on "Good Morning America" April 14, the April 15 appearances include a performance of "Arabian Nights" on "Good Morning America" (broadcast live from the stage of the New Amsterdam); a performance of "Prince Ali" on "The View"; and interviews (conducted by Elizabeth Vargas) with director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw and stars Adam Jacobs, James Monroe Iglehart, Courtney Reed and Jonathan Freeman on "Nightline."
"GMA" airs live Monday-Friday from 7-9 AM ET, "The View" is broadcast from 11 AM-noon, and "Nightline" airs weeknights from 12:35-1 AM.
Aladdin, the new musical comedy based on the Academy Award-winning animated film of the same name, opened March 20.
Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, Aladdin features music by Tony Award and Oscar winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and two-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer) and a book by Beguelin.
Nicholaw directs the production, which stars Jacobs in the title role, Reed as Jasmine, Iglehart as Genie and Freeman as Jafar with Brian Gonzales, Brandon O'Neill and Jonathan Schwartz as Aladdin's sidekicks Babkak, Kassim and Omar, respectively, Clifton Davis as Sultan and Don Darryl Rivera as Iago.
