The program, which began in 2010 with the Tony-winning play The Normal Heart, offers $30 tickets to patrons age 30 or under.
Following the Friday evening performance, Playbill editor Blake Ross and NY1 theatre reporter and producer Frank DiLella will sit down with the entire cast to talk about the play and the impact that young people can have on the theatre.
Joining Rudd in Grace are Emmy winner Ed Asner, Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon and Kate Arrington.
Here's how the work is described: "In alternating scenes of hilarity and poignancy, life turns surreal for an eclectic foursome whose destinies collide in the Sunshine State. A wide-eyed young couple (Rudd & Arrington) head south with big plans to open a chain of Gospel-themed motels. When an agitated rocket scientist (Shannon) and a prickly pest-control man (Asner) enter the picture, the couple's ordered world is thrown into utter chaos."
Other shows that have participated in "30 For $30" include Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays and The Mountaintop, with Samuel L. Jackson.
