Cochran won an Obie for her achingly realistic portrayal. On the same day Buddeke arrives, Jonno Roberts (Take Me Out) will replace Paul Sparks as paranoid loner Peter, and Troy West will be take over the role of the ambiguously benevolent Dr. Sweet from Michael Canavan. Remaining with the cast are Michael Cullen as Agnes' violent Ex, Goss, and Dee Pelletier as Agnes' lesbian pal RC. Cullen is the only holdover from the original New York cast.
The show began on Feb. 26 at the Barrow Street Theatre. The open-ended run received some of the best reviews of the season and went on to collect four Lucille Lortel Awards including Best Play and Best Direction and OBIE Awards for both the Ensemble and the Design Team.
Scott Morfee's co-produces with Amy Danis and Mark Johannes.

The creepy Off-Broadway hit Bug will probably recoup its investment by fall, producer Morfee recently told Variety. The Tracy Letts play was capitalized at $280,000. So far, investors have collected half of what they put in.
If Bug does indeed recoup, it will be a rare success story in the current dire world of commercial Off-Broadway theatre. Since Sept. 11, 2001, even well reviewed shows have had a difficult time collecting a profit. Bug opened last spring to some of the best reviews of the season.
