The life and music of Frank Sinatra will be celebrated in Frank -- The Sinatra Story in Music to open in June at Sydney's York Theatre of the Seymour Centre. The show will star Tom Burlinson, best known internationally as the star of the hit Australian movie The Man From Snowy River. Burlinson is also an acclaimed singer and provided the voice of the young Sinatra for the Golden Globe winning mini-series Sinatra. He also starred in a 1994 production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in Sydney.
He will be backed by a 16-piece big band including some of the best jazz musicians in the country. More than 20 songs will be included along with biographical details and anecdotes. He will also be accompanied by dancers.
