News Butler, Tripplehorn, Day and More Featured in "The Trap" Rita Wilson, who made her Broadway debut in Kander and Ebb's Chicago, has directed a new short film featuring several theatre actors.

Entitled "The Trap," the film premiered Oct. 9 in Los Angeles and is now available for viewing on-line. Jeanne Tripplehorn (The Three Sisters) heads the cast of the short film, which also features Gregory Butler (Chicago), Johanna Day (Proof), Gia Carides, Aisha Tyler and Channing Tatum. "The Trap," according to press notes, is described as such: "Falling into a trap could be the best thing that ever happened to you. Maggie's (Tripplehorn) journey of self-discovery begins with a shaky start when she pulls up to an address in a seedy part of town, where she encounters an outwardly threatening figure named Oberon (Butler), who ushers her into an unforgettable night of exploration and unexpected possibilities, after which she realizes her life may never be the same again."
