Broadway and cabaret singer Tom Andersen steps into the spotlight on March 20 at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage. Performing at 6 PM, Andersen will be accompanied by award-winning musical director, Ian Herman in a performance that will be fed live on the internet at www.kennedy-center.org/millennium. As reported earlier, Andersen has shared the cabaret stage with Liza Minnelli, Michael Feinstein, Andrea Marcovicci, Betty Buckley and Stephen Schwartz.

Andersen established his theatre credentials in the 1993 Off-Broadway revue, Cabariety and later in the long-running San Francisco hit, Beach Blanket Babylon. A five time MAC Award winner, Andersen's awards were for New York Debut (1993), Outstanding Male Vocalist (1996), Song of the Year -- "Yard Sale" -- (1998) and the MAC Award for Recording (1999).
