Wilson was scheduled to play the intimate nightspot May 5-7 and May 13-15 at 7:30 PM.

Her new program of love songs was scheduled to include the work of Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Arlen, Kern, Sondheim, Coward, Francesca Blumenthal, Henry Nemo and others.

Julie Wilson made her Broadway debut in Three to Make Ready and has also been seen on Broadway in Kismet, The Pajama Game, Jimmy, Park and Legs Diamond, earning a Tony nomination for her work in the latter. She toured in productions of Show Boat, Panama Hattie, Silk Stockings, Follies, Company and A Little Night Music, and her West End credits include Kiss Me, Kate; South Pacific; and Bells Are Ringing. In the past few decades Wilson has become one of the most respected and critically acclaimed artists on the cabaret scene. Her recordings are numerous and include "My Old Flame," "Live From the Russian Tea Room" and "Julie Wilson at the St. Regis," among others.

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenue.
