News Callaway, Jenkins, Mason, Ripley, McArdle Are Divas on Hudson in Annual Benefit, June 11 Ladies from New York stages and cabarets are taking the train north to the verdant Hudson Valley June 11 to sing in the annual Divas on Hudson gala, benefiting Hudson Stage Company, the resident Equity company in Westchester County.

Singers this year will include Liz Callaway (Baby, Miss Saigon, The Spitfire Grill), Alice Ripley (Side Show, Les Miserables), Andrea McArdle (Annie, State Fair, Les Miz, Beauty and the Beast), Capathia Jenkins (The Look of Love, Caroline or Change) and Karen Mason (And the World Goes 'Round, Mamma Mia!, Sunset Blvd.). Piano, bass and percussion sweeten the experience. Alex Rybeck music directs.

Jason Graae (Ragtime, Forbidden Broadway, Forbidden Hollywood, Snoopy!!!) will host.

This is the third annual outdoor Divas on Hudson benefit, and includes refreshments (wine, cheese, coffee and dessert) and a sunset concert overlooking the Hudson River. Picnicking begins at 7 PM at a private home at 16 Prickly Pear Hill near the Hudson National Golf Course (parking is at the club, with shuttle service available) in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. All tickets are $100.

BYOP (bring your own picnic and blanket). A silent auction includes a week in a French ski chalet, a cruise on the Hudson and more.
