News Calling All Riffers! Win a Spot on "Breaking Down the Riffs" Web Series (Plus Video) Natalie Weiss, who has been seen on Broadway in Everyday Rapture and recently completed a two-and-a-half-year run in the 25th anniversary tour of Les Misérables, has launched a contest for up-and-coming riffers to be featured on "Breaking Down the Riffs."

To enter, riffers should film themselves hosting a mock episode of "BDTR." The riff breakdown should follow the standard "BDTR" formula, and hopefuls must find a volunteer who can serve as a guest in the video and teach them the riff breakdown.
 Videos must be filmed horizontally and should not exceed three minutes. Email the original video file (.mov) along with name and Twitter handle to [email protected] with the subject line "BDTR Contest."

The deadline for video submissions is Sept. 15 at 11 PM. Contestants are asked to break down a riff by Godspell's Celisse Henderson from her cover of The Beatles' "Yesterday." The riff can be found at 1:25 here
