News Carlisle Hart and Kaufman Headline Tales & Tunes, April 28 & May 4 Acclaimed stage actress Kitty Carlisle Hart and Anne Kaufman Schneider, daughter of famed playwright-director George S. Kaufman, will headline three performances of Tales & Tunes at the Florence Guild Hall.

Hart and Schneider will introduce some of the lesser-known songs composed by such Broadway writers as Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and the Gershwins and will also relate anecdotes about themselves and the aforementioned composers. Songs will be interpreted by Anna Bergman, Toni DiBuono and Thelma Ruby. Directed by Ian Marshall Fisher, Tales & Tunes will be performed April 28 at 6:30 PM and May 4 at 3 and 6:30 PM. All performances will be held at The Florence Gould Hall in the French Institute Alliance Français, which is located between Park and Madison Avenues at 55 East 59th Street.
