Cathy Rigby, currently on Broadway in Peter Pan and who has played the role of Peter nationally since November 1997, will return to the stage of the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts in March 2000 as the legendary Margaret Tobin in The Unsinkable Molly Brown. The production is part of McCoy Rigby Entertainment's upcoming season. Peter Pan was one of four shows nominated for a 1999 Tony Award as Best Revival of a Musical. Rigby was nominated for an Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Actress in a Musical. She was not eligible for the Tony Award nomination for Best Actress as she has played the role previously on Broadway.

Peter Pan is the first show produced at La Mirada Theatre to tour across the nation and be performed on Broadway. During its five years in La Mirada, McCoy Rigby Entertainment has staged twenty successful plays and musicals, increased series subscriptions by 31 per cent, and won dozens of theatre industry awards.
