News Chicago Casts of Lion King and Billy Elliot Join Forces for One-Night Benefit Concert The Chicago casts and crews of Disney's The Lion King and Billy Elliot the Musical will join together for a one-night-only concert of song, dance and spoken word, Oct. 25 at 7 PM at The Royal George Theatre in Chicago.

The concert, City of Hope: Chicago Cares, will benefit the AIDS housing and support organization Chicago House, and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The concert will feature over 12 performances of songs that range from the classics to pop to R&B and Broadway. Several silent auctions will also take place throughout the evening.

The Lion King is currently playing at the Chicago Palace Theatre through Oct. 27, with Billy Elliot scheduled to play the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre through Jan. 15, 2011.
