Donald Brenner will direct the evenings of song May 18 and 25 at 7 PM.
Going Through a Stage: The Songs of Charles Bloom, according to press notes, is "a musical journey exploring the quirks, longings and joys we face while going through the stages of our lives."
The cast for the concerts includes Colella (High Fidelity, Beebo Brinker), Green (West Side Story), Linton (Wicked, Les Miserables) and Lazar (Tale of Two Cities, Light in the Piazza), as well as Josh Young (Les Miserables), Mara Davi (Drowsy Chaperone, A Chorus Line), Matt Castle (Company), Kerry O'Malley (White Christmas, Into the Woods), Brad Oscar (Producers, Spamalot), Claybourne Elder (Road Show), Christy Faber (Les Misérables); Rachel Izen (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Amy Justman (Company, White Christmas), MAC winner Julie Reyburn and Steve Ross.
The evenings will feature musical direction by Michael Lavine, and piano and additional arrangements by Matt Castle.
Charles Bloom has penned Pablo, Insomnia, Heaven Knows, Character Breakdown and Frank and Phyllis, A 12-Minute, Mini Musical. Tickets, priced $10, are available by visiting TriadNYC.
