News Commedia-Inspired Even Maybe Tammy to Play the Flea Christopher Bayes' Even Maybe Tammy (Or, A Cockamamie Bucket of Ruckus), featuring 2009 graduates of the Yale School of Drama, will play a limited engagement at the Flea Theater.

Running June 3-13, Even Maybe Tammy is directed by Bayes, who created the piece in collaboration with an ensemble cast of recent Yale Drama graduates. Frances Black produces.

Inspired by the styles of commedia dell'arte, the new work will feature company members Eric Bryant, Laura Esposito, Carter Gill, Sisi Aisha Johnson, Alex Knox, Teresa Avia Lim, Christopher McFarland, Barret O’Brien, Luke Robertson, Erica Sullivan and Alex Teicheira.

The evening of madcap comedy includes music by Alex Knox and Barret O'Brien, lyrics by Bayes and the Flea Company, with lighting design by Adrian Rooney.

Bayes, a member of the creative team of Broadway's 39 Steps, will direct The Servant of Two Masters at Yale Repertory Theatre in 2010. He is currently a faculty member at the Yale School of Drama.
