News Composers Kander and Flaherty to Speak at Dramatists Guild's Inaugural "DuoLogues" Broadway composers John Kander and Stephen Flaherty will take part in a conversation as part of The Dramatists Guild of America's "DuoLogues" series May 16.

The Dramatists Guild's DuoLogues seminar series opens with the conversation between the celebrated composers. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dramatists Guild's Frederick Loewe Room at 5:30 PM.

Kander — currently represented on Broadway by Curtains and Chicago — has also scored the musicals Cabaret, Steel Pier, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink, Zorba and more.

Flaherty composed the music for Once on This Island, Seussical, Ragtime and My Favorite Year, among others.

Flaherty will guide the conversation with Kander delving into such topics as "what it means to be in a longtime collaboration and how that collaboration informs the music itself," as a release notes.
