In December Royal Caribbean International will introduce the world's newest cruise ship, Allure of the Seas.

In addition to an array of brand-new features and onboard amenities, the cruise ship will also boast a production of the Tony-winning revival of Chicago: The Musical, which will play the ship's 1,380-seat Amber Theater.

The production will be a condensed 90-minute version of the famed Kander and Ebb musical that continues to be a hit at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre.

"Allure of the Seas will feature an unbelievable lineup of new entertainment options that will dazzle and delight guests of all ages," stated Lisa Bauer, senior vice president, Hotel Operations, Royal Caribbean International. "Chicago: The Musical will become the second Tony Award-winning musical that Royal Caribbean debuts at sea and tops the list of award-winning caliber entertainment created by our own Royal Caribbean Productions team."

Chicago producer Barry Weissler added, "We're very excited at the opportunity to partner with Royal Caribbean, and we look forward to entertaining even more guests each week with the story of Chicago."
