Argentine play Confesiones de Mujeres de 30 (Confessions from Women in their 30´s) by Domingo Jose Soares de Oliveira celebrated 100 performances June 12.

It is a tradition in Mexico to celebrate each 100 performances and hang a commemorative engraved plate at the foyer of the theatre. That´s what producer Morris Gilbert did on that night at the Teatro El Telon De Asfalto in Mexico City.

The three actresses in their 30´s that are starring the show are Laura Luz, Zaide Silvia Gutierrez and Ana Karina Guevara. The production is staged by Lia Jelin, who directed the original Buenos Aires production. In this comedy the audience explore the life of these three common women in their mid-30´s. They talk about love, frustrations, achievements, pleasures and of course, men.

The celebrities that were invited to this special performance were singer Celia Cruz, comedian/singer Maria Victoria, dancer Tongolele and actor Ari Telch.
