Cullom currently serves as the executive director for the Bethesda Theatre, which is owned and operated by Nederlander Worlwide Entertainment in Bethesda, MD. Long Wharf's board of trustees selected Cullom, who will begin his position with Long Wharf on May 18.
"I am delighted to join Long Wharf Theatre and to collaborate with an extraordinary artist like [artistic director] Gordon Edelstein," Cullom said in a statement. "To be a part of New Haven's remarkably rich theatre scene and vibrant community is a dream come true. I look forward to working closely with the Theatre's outstanding Board of Trustees, and helping to advance Long Wharf's tradition of producing fresh and imaginative works of theatre."
A member of the Broadway League, Cullom previously worked for Networks Presentations as director of marketing, sales and general manager, and spent five years as executive director and design and operations consultant for the Theatre Row complex on 42nd Street.
