The new dance musical features music and lyrics by Horne, additional lyrics and direction by Alyse Rothman and choreography by Tiger Martina. The $trip, according to press notes, "takes a look at America as Vegas would have it: a mythic place of desire, promise and betrayal, built on a premise of perpetual change. . . [The production tells] the story of America through the guise of a Las Vegas floor show." The cast for the upcoming performances will include Alex Brady, Michael Cusumano, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Aisha de Haas, Kurt Froman, Bob Gaynor, Neil Haskell, Sabra Lewis, Mayumi Miguel, Rashad Naylor, Jen Parsinen, Karine Plantadit-Bageot and Teal Wicks. The actors will be backed by musicians Malcolm Gold, Bill Lanham, Shu Nakamura and Brian Nash.
