News Daniel Radcliffe to Star in "The Amateur Photographer" Stage and screen star Daniel Radcliffe, who will appear on Broadway this spring in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, is set to star in the independent film comedy "The Amateur Photographer," according to mtv.com.

Radcliffe will play a young man who is asked to photograph the inhabitants of a quiet New England town in their most personal moments. He discovers his calling while dealing with local authorities and inspires some change in the town.

Christopher Monger, who wrote the novel on which the film is based, will write the film's screenplay and direct.

Radcliffe also appeared in Equus on Broadway and in London's West End. Best known for playing the title character in the "Harry Potter" films, he will also appear on screen in the upcoming film adaptation of the West End play and novel The Woman in Black.
