News Danieley Replaces Szot in Ravinia's Rodgers and Hammerstein Tribute Jason Danieley, most recently on Broadway in Curtains, has replaced the previously announced Paulo Szot in the Ravinia Festival's upcoming tribute to the work of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.

Szot has withdrawn from the Sept. 6 evening at the Illinois venue for "personal reasons," according to a Ravinia press release. Danieley will be joined by three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara for the 7 PM concert in the Pavilion. Tony Award winner Ted Sperling will conduct the Ravinia Festival Orchestra.

Jason Danieley, acclaimed for his performance in Broadway's Curtains, played Dr. Rey in the Signature Theatre's production of The Highest Yellow. He starred on Broadway as Malcolm MacGregor in The Full Monty, a role he repeated in London. For his Broadway debut in Candide, Danieley received a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk nomination. His other theatrical credits include the City Center Encores! production of Strike Up the Band as well as Off-Broadway runs in Dream True and Floyd Collins. Danieley is married to Broadway actress Marin Mazzie.
