PlayBlog Darren Criss in Talks to Become "Glee" Regular; "The Office" to Air "Glee" Episode Tonight Darren Criss, who made his first appearance on "Glee" Nov. 9 as Kurt's gay friend Blaine, may make the leap to series regular by next season, according to deadline.com.

Criss initially joined the cast in a recurring spot, but is in talks to expand his role when the show's third season begins this fall.

Perhaps best known for the YouTube-circulated hit video of the college parody A Very Potter Musical, Criss has also appeared on the ABC series "Eastwick."

More "Glee" news: The previously reported episode of "The Office" in which the folks at Dunder Mifflin gather to watch an episode of "Glee" airs Nov. 11 at 9 PM ET on NBC. According to examiner.com, the episode will bring out tensions in the coworkers, including Andy's jealousy over Erin and Gabe's relationship and Michael's discomfort with the others referring to Gabe as his boss.
