As first reported by Playbill.com, The Melting Pot Theatre Company will produce and Kerry O'Malley will star. Also in the cast are Gregg Edelman, Brian D’Arcy James, Adam Heller, Rex Young and Victoria Mack.

Edelman and O'Malley will play aviator Charles Lindbergh and his writer wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh.

Wingfield is the author Dating Games, the collection of one-act comedies that ran at Off-Broadway's Theater Row Studio Theater in June 2003. He also wrote Are We There Yet?, which has been produced in New York and London.

Both Edelman and O'Malley starred in the recent Broadway revival of Into the Woods.

Past Melting Pot productions include Cobb and Cookin' at the Cookery. Charles Lindbergh became one of the most famous and revered figures in human history in 1927 when he became the first person to fly a solo nonstop flight from New York to Paris. He and his wife Anne once again became the center of the world's attention when in 1932 their baby was kidnapped from their New Jersey home and later found dead. The ensuing trial is now regarding by many as the first media circus of the modern era. Public opinion of Lindbergh turned during the late '30s when he visited Nazi Germany and made approving remarks about Adolph Hitler. After the war, he withdrew from the spotlight. Lindbergh died in 1974. Anne lived until 2001.
