Nathan as Matron "Mama" Morton, Ray Bokhour as Amos Hart, R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine and Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn. Barrett recently extended his Chicago engagement through April 5.

Charlotte d'Amboise, a long-time Chicago favorite, is currently heading the out-of-town Boston tryout of Sweet Charity. The singer-actress-dancer is a last-minute replacement for Christina Applegate, who broke her foot March 11 during the Chicago run of Sweet Charity. Both Charity, which is scheduled to open on Broadway April 21, and Chicago are produced by Barry and Fran Weissler.

Chicago won the Tony for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

The Ambassador Theatre is located at 215 West 49th Street.
