PlayBlog Dennis Haysbert Talks Race, Hints at Future Mamet Project on "Today" (Video) Actor Dennis Haysbert, who recently joined the Broadway cast of David Mamet’s play Race, visited “Today” June 25 to discuss the play, and hinted that he and Mamet, his Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright (who also directs Race), have been considering collaborating on a television project in the future.


A Golden Globe nominee for his work on the television series “24,” Haysbert is making his Broadway debut in Race in which he co-stars with fellow new cast members Eddie Izzard and Afton C. Williamson, and original cast member Richard Thomas.
