News Design Team Announced for Greenberg's The House in Town at LCT The House in Town, a new play by Richard Greenberg which will get its world premiere at Lincoln Center Theater starting May 24, has announced its team of designers.

The production will have sets by John Lee Beatty, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting by Brian MacDevitt and sound design and original music by David van Tieghem.

As first reported by Playbill.com, the cast includes Jessica Hecht, Mark Harelik, Becky Ann Baker, Armand Schultz and Dan Bittner. Doug Hughes will direct. Opening at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater is June 19.

The play takes a look at a marriage and is set in the early months of 1929 on New York City's 23rd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues, which was then known as Millionaire's Row. Greenberg has often set his plays, or sections of his plays, in the early decades of 20th century New York, among them Everett Beekin, The Violet Hour and Night and Her Stars.

Hecht's recent New York stage credits include Julius Caesar and After the Fall on Broadway. Harelik was part of the original LCT cast of The Light in the Piazza. Baker has appeared on Broadway in Titanic, Assasssins and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Off-Broadway in Shanghai Moon and Othello. Schultz's credits include The Herbal Bed and A View From the Bridge.

House will be the second new play by the prolific Greenberg to reach New York this season. A Naked Girl on the Appian Way played at the Roundabout Theatre Company last fall. The ubiquitous Hughes directed that piece as well. In addition, Greenberg's Three Days of Rain is currently being revived on Broadway with Julia Roberts leading the cast. Joe Mantello directs.

In the past, LCT has produced Greenberg's Everett Beekin.
