News Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, an Old Globe Hit, Gets Final Extension in San Diego Prior to Broadway Due to popular demand, The Old Globe in San Diego is extending the world premiere run of the new Broadway- bound musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels one last time, to Nov. 7.

The musical based on the film of the same name stars Norbert Leo Butz and John Lithgow as con men on the French Riviera. The book is by Jeffrey Lane, with music and lyrics by David Yazbek (The Full Monty). Director Jack O'Brien is fine-tuning the show toward its 2005 Broadway bow. Jerry Mitchell choreographs.

Previews begin Jan. 31 at the Imperial Theatre on Broadway.
