Murphy did appear in the Saturday matinee and will do the same for the Sunday afternoon performance.
Donna Murphy returned as Ruth Sherwood in the Broadway revival Nov. 13 after battling the flu for a week, during which time she missed the Nov. 6-9 and Nov. 11-12 shows. The first set of previews were canceled, while Mugleston filled in starting Nov. 11.
Murphy's illness arrived one day after the revival began previews on Nov. 5.
Wonderful Town will officially open Nov. 23. The production marks the first Broadway revival of the 1953 Bernstein-Comden-Green musical and the Broadway directorial debut of choreographer Kathleen Marshall.
