News Edinburgh Hit Potted Panto Heads to West End's Vaudeville Theatre For Christmas Season Potted Panto, an Edinburgh Fringe success that distills seven classic pantomimes into one show, is heading to the West End's Vaudeville Theatre, beginning performances Dec. 10 prior to an official opening Dec. 14, for a season through Jan. 9, 2011.

Written by Daniel Clarkson, Jefferson Turner and Richard Hurst, and performed by Clarkson and Turner alone, the show is directed by Richard Hurst and designed by Simon Scullion and Helen Stewart. Clarkson and Turner are best known for their work as CBBC TV presenters. They have also had six sell-out runs across four Edinburgh seasons of shows that have previously included Potter Potter (digesting the entire series of "Harry Potter" books into one show) and Potted Pirates. The pair have also made storytelling appearances on "Blue Peter" and "Big Brother's Little Brother."

According to producers, Potted Panto features Cinderella in 3D, including a cameo from the first ever Fairy-Godchicken to grace a West End stage.
