In the lead up to Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway revival of J. B. Priestley’s Time and the Conways, we caught up with the show’s star, Oscar nominee Elizabeth McGovern, and its Tony-winning director Rebecca Taichman. Time and the Conways will begin previews September 14 ahead of an official opening October 10. The limited engagement is scheduled to play through November 26 at the American Airlines Theatre
The cast also includes Pitch Perfect’s Anna Camp, Tony winner Gabriel Ebert, Tony nominee Steven Boyer, Broadway and West End alum Charlotte Parry, Pippin alum Matthew James Thomas, Anna Baryshnikov, Brooke Bloom, Alfredo Narciso, and Cara Ricketts.
Time and the Conways kicks off in 1919 Britain, where we meet Mrs. Conway (McGovern) and her six children during her daughter's lavish birthday party. The story then picks up 19 years later, when all of their lives have changed unimaginably.
