Although the production had recently announced an extension through Sept. 10, Greene will be unable to continue with the production due to previous commitments.

In a statement Greene said, "Although I will be sad to say goodbye to such a fantastically talented young cast, I'm delighted that audiences have enjoyed the show and that it will continue its run. It's such fun and creating not one but three characters has been a wonderful experience."

Greene, who co-stars with Steven Webb, Ashleigh Gray and newcomer Benedict Salter, plays three roles – The Enchantress, Princess and Nymph Queen, who are identical triplets in the show. Set in modern day New York, writer Bailey - suffering writer's block - and his roommate Cooper Fitzgerald are catapulted head first into a strange enchanted world. Their arrival fulfils a prophecy that tells of a brave hero and a great queen and they are tasked with searching out a fading daytime TV star who is the only hope for saving a pregnant princess from losing the throne.

Greene will be succeeded by by British comedy actress Lizzie Roper, whose credits include One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, co-starring Christian Slater; The Odd Couple, with Bill Bailey and Alan Davies; Peccadillo Circus; and Through My Keyhole. She was also seen in August: Osage County at the National Theatre.

Greene was last seen in London at the New Players Theatre in her cabaret show Torch!, accompanied by Christian Klikovits; she previously originated the role of Audrey in Cameron Mackintosh's West End transfer of Little Shop of Horrors to the Comedy Theatre. Other theatre credits include The Prince and the Aviator with Michael York, Three Men on a Horse, The Threepenny Opera and a concert version of Guys and Dolls at LA's Hollywood Bowl. On TV she has played Sylar's mother Virginia Grey in "Heroes" and Vivian in two seasons of "Pushing Daisies." Betwixt! is written and directed by Ian McFarlane, with choreography by Grace Harrington and musical direction and arrangements by George Dyer.
