News Entire Cast of Closer Than Ever Will Head to the Chatterbox June 7 The cast of the York Theatre Company's current revival of the hit Off-Broadway revue Closer Than Ever, which features the lyrics of Richard Maltby, Jr. and the music of David Shire, will be special guests at Seth's Broadway Chatterbox June 7.

Cast members Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy, High Fidelity), George Dvorsky (The Scarlet Pimpernel), 2011 Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Jekyll & Hyde) and Sal Viviano (The Full Monty) will chat with host Seth Rudetsky.

The weekly live talk show, which includes interviews and performances from Broadway stars, is held at 6 PM at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama. There is a $10 donation and a two-drink minimum. The donation goes directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the nation's leading industry-based, not-for-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization.

Directed by Maltby with music direction by Andrew Gerle, the limited engagement of Closer Than Ever will continue through July 14 at the Off-Broadway venue, located in the Citicorp Building (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Tickets are priced at $67.50 and are available online at www.yorktheatre.org, by calling (212) 935-5820, or in person at the box office at the York Theatre at Saint Peter’s.

* (Seth Rudetsky has played piano in the pits of many Broadway shows including Ragtime, Grease and The Phantom of the Opera.
