News Eve Plumb, Ben Davis, Adam Kaplan, Karen Pittman and Remy Zaken Take Part in Reading of First Love Big Vision Empty Wallet (BVEW) and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences present a reading of BVEW Playwriting Fellow Alex Rubin’s First Love May 2 in Manhattan.

Directed by Andy Sandberg, the cast features Eve Plumb, Jenn Colella, Ben Davis, Adam Kaplan, Karen Pittman and Remy Zaken. Jacqueline Gonzalez, executive director of NATAS-NY, hosts the 7 PM event.

The reading is executive-produced by Aaron Grant and Aaron Grant Theatrical, Inc. Casting is by Daryl Eisenberg Casting.

The goal of BVEW’s Playwriting Showcase & Fellowship is "to help playwrights further their careers without selling their souls (or spending a ton of cash). Unlike most fellowships, BVEW will foster the fellows’ creative and business potential for a full year with the goal of moving their projects towards commercial productions, with the help of expert industry mentors."
