Ballet and musicals are frequent guests at Vienna's premier operetta house, the Volksoper.

Now a dance show will join the repertory.

Dance! Dance! Dance! was a big success with audiences and critics alike when performed by the "Volksoper's" ballet on Oct. 7, 1996. More than a year later, audiences have another chance to see 36 dancers strut their stuff. Chereographer Kim Poeschl-Duddy has added eight completely new dance numbers, making it 17 in total for the evening.

The music to dance to comes from a variety of sources, with composers as different as Johann Strauss, Carl Orff, George Gershwin, Cy Coleman, Benny Goodman and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Besides the corps de ballet, popular performers from the Volksoper (Martina Dorak, Cedric Bradley) or Vienna's musical stages (Pia Douwes, Eric Minsk, Barbara Spitz) will perform as guests.
