News EXCLUSIVE: Casts of Godspell and Million Dollar Quartet Will Perform on "Rosie" The cast of Broadway's Godspell and the Chicago company of the Tony-nominated musical Million Dollar Quartet will be featured on "The Rosie Show" this week.

A spokesperson for the new talk show on the Oprah Winfrey Network told Playbill.com that the cast of Quartet will tape their performance Dec. 6 for a Dec. 6 airing. The Godspell company will record a Stephen Schwartz tune Dec. 5 for a Dec. 8 broadcast.

"The Rosie Show," hosted by actress, comic and Broadway enthusiast Rosie O'Donnell, airs weeknights at 7 PM ET; check local listings.

The first Broadway revival of Godspell plays Broadway's Circle in the Square. Daniel Goldstein directs the family-friendly musical with choreography by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli. The cast features Hunter Parrish (Spring Awakening, "Weeds") as Jesus, Wallace Smith (American Idiot) as Judas, Uzo Aduba (Coram Boy), Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby), Celisse Henderson ("The Electric Company," In Transit), Morgan James (The Addams Family), Telly Leung (Rent, "Glee"), Lindsay Mendez (Everyday Rapture, Grease), Anna Maria Perez de Tagle ("Hannah Montana," "Fame") and George Salazar (Spring Awakening national tour). The original Chicago production of Million Dollar Quartet, which plays the Apollo Theatre, features Gabe Bowling (Carl Perkins), Brandon Bennett (Elvis Presley), Lance Pipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash), Brad Ber )Jay Perkins), Tim Decker (Sam Philips) and Heather Marie Marsden (Dyanne). Eric Schaeffer (Follies) staged the musical based on the real-life 1956 recording that the foursome (Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis) made at Sun Records' studio in Memphis. Million Dollar Quartet has a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux; the latter conceived and originally directed the musical. The musical also plays Off-Broadway's New World Stages.
