News Expelliarmus! Daniel Radcliffe Not "Inclined" to Reprise Harry Potter on Screen With the release of J.K. Rowling's new short story centered on a grownup Harry Potter, stage and screen actor Daniel Radcliffe — known for his portrayal of the titular wizard in the film franchise based on Rowling's stories — is not inclined to reprise the iconic role, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

"My inclination is to say no," Radcliffe said July 8 at the Television Critics Association press tour at the Beverly Hilton — also noting that he was not asked about the possibility. "I don't think it's a question — not even a hypothetical at this moment." He added that, although he has not yet read the piece, Potter is 12 years older than he is, and he doesn't think he'll "have to worry about it for a long time."

Radcliffe appeared at TCA via satellite from New York to talk up his Ovation series "A Young Doctor's Notebook," which also stars Jon Hamm. The actor is currently starring on Broadway in The Cripple of Inishmaan, which continues its limited engagement through July 20 at the Cort Theatre.
