Faith Prince will conclude the run of her cabaret show, Leap of Faith, at the Stamford Center for the Arts' Rich Forum, on Nov 14. Shows began Nov. 9. Leap played an acclaimed run at New York City's Joe's Pub, Sept. 13-27.
In the stage star's (Guys and Dolls, Little Me) first foray into cabaret, Prince sings numbers from the shows she's appeared in (a scat "Adelaide's Lament," "The Other Side of the Tracks") as well as songs from On a Clear Day..., Bells Are Ringing, Paper Moon and some obscure selections (the heartwarming "Sweet Kentucky Ham," the singularly bizarre "Animal in the Pit").
Prince won a Tony for Guys and Dolls. Other credits include Falsettoland, Dubarry Was a Lady, and Jerome Robbins' Broadway.
The Rich Forum is located at 307 Atlantic Street. For information, call (203) 325-4466.
