Arthur Giron's new play about the Wright Brothers and their family circle, Flight, is now in previews for a Nov. 16 opening at NY's Ensemble Studio Theatre. The play focuses not only on aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright but on their mother, Susan Wright.
Giron is the author of several plays including Becoming Memories (which won the Los Angeles Drama-Logue Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing) and Edith Stein.
The cast includes Daniel Ahearn, Brad Bellamy, Thomas McHugh and Michael Louis Wells. The director is Jamie Richards, who directed Stonewall Jackson's House last season at the American Place Theatre.
