Variety reports that "Don't Ask," a half-hour comedy concerning a married father and his two sons, will be executive produced by Fox TV Entertainment Group chairman Sandy Grushow and Phase Two's Paul Shapiro. In the pilot, the married dad comes out to his family and announces that he's in love with his wife's therapist. Neither a cast nor a broadcast date has been announced for the new series.
Nicky Silver's plays include Beautiful Child, Pterodactyls, Maiden's Prayer, Raised In Captivity, The Altruists and Eros Trilogy. He also penned a new book for the recent Broadway revival of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart's The Boys From Syracuse.
