Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, written in 1818, has seen numerous stage and film adaptations this century. In Frank & Stein, British author Ken Campbell has given the most famous horror story of all time a new twist on stage.
Two men, Frank and Stein, play all the roles in Frankenstein, thus giving the subject a highly theatrical treatment and paying hommage to James Whale's movie version of 1931 at the same time.
Ken Campbell, author, director and actor, has starred in numerous one-man-shows, and garnered fame by co-authoring The Road Show in 1968.
Volkmar Kamm directs Peter Andreas Landerl and Daniel Pascal at the Theaterkeller, which is a smaller stage owned by the Linzer Landestheater.
Frank & Stein plays March 15, 20, 27 and 30. Tickets can be ordered at +43-732-7611-100. -- By Bernd Freimueller
