News Fraser, Marcus and Quinn to Star in George Street's Gunmetal Blues Musical Initial casting has been announced for the George Street Playhouse's upcoming production of Gunmetal Blues.

Alison Fraser, Daniel Marcus and Patrick Quinn will head the cast of the film noir musical, which will begin previews at the New Jersey theatre April 4 with an official opening scheduled for April 7. Directed by David Saint, the musical will play through April 30.

Gunmetal Blues features a book by Scott Wentworth and a score by Craig Bohmler and Marion Adler. Alison Fraser received Tony nominations for her performances in The Secret Garden and Romance/Romance, and was also seen on Broadway in Tartuffe: Born Again and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Daniel Marcus' Broadway credits include The Pirates of Penzance, 1776, A Christmas Carol, Urinetown and The Woman in White. Patrick Quinn has appeared on The Great White Way in A Class Act, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Damn Yankees, Lend Me a Tenor, Oh! Coward, A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and Fiddler on the Roof.
