Duke will join performers from the Broadway productions of Oklahoma!, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago, Les Misérables and Cabaret for the half-hour concert, which is scheduled to begin at 5:15 PM. Presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers, the concert will be held in the Concourse of Grand Central Station (Café Metroazur side). Patty Duke made her Broadway debut in the 1959 production of The Miracle Worker playing Helen Keller, a role she repeated on film to Oscar winning effect. She later played Keller's teacher, Annie Sullivan, in a TV production of The Miracle Worker, and received an Emmy Award for that portrayal. A TV and film veteran, Duke starred in "The Patty Duke Show" as a child, and her many other screen credits include "Me, Natalie," "It Takes Two," "Billie," "My Sweet Charlie," "Captains and the Kings," "The Girl on the Edge of Town," "George Washington" and "Touched By An Angel."
