Garrison completes the company, which includes Tyne Daly, Cynthia Nixon, John Slattery and John Gallagher Jr. The world premiere Broadway production is directed by Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof, Sight Unseen, Brooklyn Boy).
Performances begin Jan. 12, 2006, at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street) toward an opening of Feb. 2.
Garrison most recently appeared on Broadway in the Roundabout revival of Assassins, as Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme, and Off-Broadway in The Foreigner. She also appeared The Man Who Came to Dinner, Debbie Does Dallas and Crimes of the Heart .
In the play by Lindsay-Abaire (Kimberly Akimbo, Wonder of the World, Fuddy Meers), "Becca (Cynthia Nixon) and Howie Corbett (John Slattery) have everything a family could want, until the day their world is turned upside down. In the aftermath of a life-shattering accident, the couple finds itself drifting perilously apart. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back up into the light of day."
Rabbit Hole will mark the Broadway debut of playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.
