Georgia's Theatre in the Square will continue its 17th season with Michael Cooney's door-slamming, mistaken-identity farce, Cash on Delivery Jan. 20-Feb. 28. English landlord Eric Swan would rather commit Social Security fraud than tell his wife he's lost his job, so he begins using his boarders' names to collect their checks. Comedy ensues when all the agencies come on the same day to investigate, and he must satiate all the agents, boarders and his wife, while pretending to be (and not be), everybody at once.
The production inaugurates The Square's ACT II series for the '99 season. Other productions in the series include Tennessee Williams' Night of the Iguana, and Wuthering! Heights! The! Musical!.
