Tony nominee Geneva Carr and Tony winner Michael Cerveris will star in an invite-only industry reading October 9 of the new comedy 45 Bennington by Ryan McCurdy.

Developed through Bespoke Plays, the play centers on Meg, a woman who wins the home of her dreams in a church sweepstakes before being descended upon by a flurry of unwelcome guests, including the Vegas Strip magician King Aramad.

Joining Carr and Cerveris will be Imani Jade Powers (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Becton, and Priyanka Krishnan.

A rising playwright, McCurdy’s other works include Whiterock Cliff with Ellie Pyle, and Niagara: A New Musical with Lauren Widner. This reading is produced by Front Porch Readings.
